 Medicare Advantage Plans are offered by private insurance groups. They allow qualifying participants to receive a wide range of benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t offer. Advantage Plans may also be referred to as “MA Plans” or “Medicare Part C.”

 Medicare Supplements are available to individuals who receive Medicare. This type of supplemental insurance is also known as Medigap. Medicare Supplement Insurance helps members of Original Medicare to ‘fill in the gaps’ of their coverage.

 Prescription drug plans are plans that help our clients afford their prescriptions and have peace of mind knowing that they won’t have to choose between which prescription to fill when money gets tight.

Prescription Drug Plans should be reviewed each year to make sure you have the most effective drug coverage or your current list of prescription drugs.

 Medicare plans and major medical plans often have certain gaps that can leave those on medicare and their families responsible for out of pocket costs. Some of these gaps, may include dental work, eyeglasses/contacts, and, in some cases, hearing aids.   

 If you are diagnosed with a specified disease, such as cancer, the major medical or Medicare plan you have may cover the cost of seeing a specialist, but it won’t cover the cost of the travel to and from treatment, lodging if you must travel long distances for treatment, or lost wages if you or your spouse are still working. Specified disease policies will payout to help you during the difficult time of diagnosis and treatment of one of these dreadful diseases. 

Life insurance pays out a sum of money either on the death of the insured person or after a set period of time. Such a policy helps ease the financial burden placed on a family when a loved one dies.
